TEARS, DEATH, MOURNING, CRYING, PAIN AND THE CURSE SHALL BE NO LONGER!  Revelation 21:1-22:21

In Volume 7, Fascicle B, the 6th Triumph begins with God wiping away the last tear of sorrow from the faces of His servants (Rev. 21:1-4) and concludes in The Garden within the Holy City in the presence of the Water of Life, the Tree of Life and the Throne of the Lord God and the Lamb (Rev. 22: 1-4). When considered together, Rev. 21-22 addresses themes introduced in Gen. 1-5 in reverse order thus forming one large chiasm involving Biblical Themes.

In Gen. 1-5, the themes of (1.) Creation (The Sabbath); (2.) the Garden; (3.) Fellowship with the LORD God; (4.) the Mystery of Evil and the Devil; (5.) the Fall of Man; (6.) the Curse; and (7) Man’s spiritual death, Man’s expulsion from the Garden, and Man’s physical death, appear seriatim.

In Rev. 21-22, the same themes reappear in reverse order: (7.) Salvation through Jesus Christ ending the separation between God and Man, which is the end of death; (6). Jesus removes the Curse by His Death and Resurrection; (5). Jesus, the Second Adam, does not Fall; (4.) The Mystery of Evil is ended and the Devil is judged in the Lake of Fire; (3) the Glorified Saints once again Fellowship with God face to face; (2) within the Garden within the Holy City; (1.) in the Newness of the New Creation (The Eternal Sabbath) and all things.

The Themes of the overthrow of Death; and the Resurrection of the Dead, the reuniting of Man’s body and spirit, appear repeatedly in the Scriptures. These two themes are the final “loose ends” tied up in Rev. 21-22. The themes of the end of all evil and the establishment of all righteousness are pronounced fulfilled in Jesus who will return and conclude His Triumph over His enemies at the Consummation.
