Our Story

Pastor Robson was married for 58 years to his wife, Gretchen, who went to meet the Lord in 2020. All who knew the Robsons could see her hand in his ministry and writing. They have three sons, three daughters-in-law, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He currently lives in Fairport, NY with his new bride, Franki (Fuhrman).

Along with completing his first book, Dear Young Shepherd, Pastor Robson continues to preach and write. Currently, he is completing the 11th Volume of The Revelation: The Book of Blessing. This popular commentary on the last book of the New Testament, The Revelation of Jesus Christ, is for Bible studies, Sunday school classes and personal enrichment.

A Brief Timeline

1980

Phd Graduate

In 1980, he received his Ph.D. in the Humanities from Syracuse University. His dissertation dealt with the analysis of language structures in the Greek New Testament.
1991-2005

Pittsburgh, PA

In 1991, he accepted the call to be Professor of New Testament Studies at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pa. He assumed this professorship in September of 1993 from which he retired in May of 2005.
1968 - 1992

Syracuse, New York

Edward Robson served as pastor of the Syracuse Reformed Presbyterian Church in Syracuse, New York from 1968 until 1992. During this time, Pastor Robson was involved with urban and university ministries, while also ministering to Vietnam Veterans and the hippie generation. Dear Young Shepherd expounds on many of these ministry experiences after a lifetime in the pastorate.

From 1980-1990 Pastor Robson taught New Testament Greek, Hermeneutics and Greek Exegesis at Ottawa Theological Hall, Ottawa, Canada.
